My disscusion on the survey

The gist of my speech is about the e-learning program as a better way of learning. Before I give my speech I need first to know how well the public know about computers, awareness about e-learning & the perspective on it. This is very important for me to understand so that I could achieve the two main goals of my speech which is to change view on e-learning and to comply with my view which is e-learning is a better way to learn. This would make my speech to be more impactful as I know how to persuade them to comply with my point of view. According to my survey the first question that was asked is how long they spend time on the computer. As assumed, there was a 100% yes that they all use the computer everyday. This shows there is no such things as anybody don’t know how to use the computer or the internet. This makes my work easier to convey the speech as they would understand the medium of using it.

My next question was do they understand the importance of computer usage now. As I expected also, they know about the importance of computer in this new era. There were various importance stated by them such as in doing assignment, assist in doing the daily task, keeps us up to date of what is happening around the world, communication, entertainment & many more. There were no such answers that is telling that the computer is not important and we can still live in a very comfortable way although there is no computer. Computer has become part of their life and daily needs.

The 3^rd question that was asked is how much are they aware of this e-learning. This question is coming to the main point of my speech. Well this question has different answers from everyone. Some of at them know about it, some don’t and some have heard about it but know nothing about it. Thus this gives a different genre of audience that I have to meet during my speech thus I have to be ready to make sure that I send my message across the whole room to every one. This adds the challenge to my speech on how I am going to persuade everybody but the challenge is what that is going to help me to learn. To make sure I can give a speech that could please every one I must first analyze thoroughly about the mindset of my audience that is by looking at their answers towards my survey.

The fourth and my final question has however a link to it where by in my fourth question is, do you think e-learning is an important concept and the fifth is would you send you children to an ordinary school or an e-learning program. Well when answering the fourth question they would answer from a third person point of view and the fifth question they would answer from a personal point of view. In my analysis, e learning is accepted as a very good learning technique but there are still some that feels that the old school is a better way of studying. However it’s a 50/50 kind of answer and only time and technology can decide on how to change everyone’s mindset to think that e-learning is a better way to study.
