Comment on Thina's best moment speech

I thought his speech was really entertaining and he managed to get the whole class's  attention. all of them were dying to know who was that girl who has 'the priceless smile' and the ' glow in her eyes '. i loved the element of suspense too, it gave that oopmh to his speech. i feel that he has more confidence now compared to the earlier days in this class.

i would have liked the speech more if he explain more about the best moment because like miss said, most of us took time to get to the best moment part.

i cant wait for more speech thina! i've already heard rumors about what the topic could be! :P

Kathir's Best Moment

The topic was Best Moment but it turned out two be a emotional day overall in the class and Kathir choose a particular day that he had with his grandfather. On a personal note it was very inspiring one where the part Kathir had to go for a tournament in Johor and his "Old Man" told him
don't play for the school, play for me and you
Few people will get inspired by this kind of words and it did certainly fueled him to do great stuff in life. Kathir like Ms Cheryl said has an awesome tone of voice for a speech, some call it mono tone which attract listeners to what is he presenting but at the same time his body movement and hand gestures where they are kind of distracting, well that is my opinion. Other then that the languages and the quality of delivery was very good but like Ms was stressing the whole period of the class he needs to narrow down to the topic as soon as possible cause time is very short.    No hard feeling Bro ^^

OOPS! one more :) Sorry, the IMPROMPTUS around college!

I forgot to mention the impromptus we had walking all around the campus, even in Metropoliton, giving speeches in public. This, I'm sure is not as easy as it seems and pretty nerve-wrecking but our fellow classmates so far have handled it pretty well. In fact, I somehow feel they did a better job in the streets than in class. That's just me though, what do you guys think?

Anyways, Yika's speech about cheating on her trials for Agama was really amusing as she told it pretty smoothly and even added humour to it. She was confident, as usual, and quite captivating. Though she was playing with her hands a lot.

Michelle's speech about college was interesting too, there was definitely a connection with us with her speech as we all know how it feels like to first step into this new world known as 'College life'. Her choice of topic was good.

Jia Xin was funny, they way she spoke, though she spoke rather fast, so I think some of us lost track of her story. It was a little entertaining though.

Bobby's speech was intersting as the story was one of a kind, and of course there were 'uhhs' and 'ahhs' here and there but he still captivates people when he speaks. That's kind of cool, not everyone can do that.

That's all I can remember really, so that's it for now from me, Thank you once again for reading :) . -Jeswena-

My personal conclusion for the 'Story continuation', 'Awards' ceremony & 'My Best Moment' speeches

Okay, so the first time I joined this class I knew it was going to be pretty interesting, and it is turning out to be REALLY interesting, out of all the hectic-ness, it is like a way of releasing stress when we see our friends go up and start talking about random things, specially during impromptus. It makes us laugh and cheer up a little, which can be really relieving at times.

Anyways, based on what we had so far, I think everyone is doing a really good job, well at least they're trying really hard. Of course, we all still do have our minor slips here and there but I'm sure we're working on it. The story speech was one of our first tasks ever given in this class and I remember there was something about a boy, his caterpillar, which turned into a butterfly and a hot air balloon or something like that. It was so Inception-ish, and the creativity you guys had in making up this story was hilarious. Kudos to classmates & of course to, our lecturer, Miss Cheryl. Without whom we would not have known about the 'prayer' and 'soldier' poses, which are No-No's.

Next, my other fave was the Awards ceremony, that activity was fun as everyone was hyped n we were all working together voting and finding who was labelled who, which was rather fun. The speeches were hilarious as well, with Su Ann giving her 'potential lesbo' speech and me with my 'miss emo' speech. I'm admittedly a drama queen, so yeah, being nominated for that was cool because I got the chance to 'ber-drama' sikit.

Lastly, the most recent, the 'Best Moment' speeches and the testing impromptus. As for the best moment speech, I felt I could have done a better job, given extra time I think I would have came up with a better story and also, I was really nervous so it was hard to concentrate, what with the many 'uhh's' ,'la's' and 'ahh's'. However, I am excited about riding a bicycle, mind youS(plural :D ) .

I remember most of the speeches were about juvenil delinquency, what with Sze Shim hiding rotans and Jia Xin hiding phones, but yeah I am sure everyone misses highschool. I know I do too.

Mindy's speech about her dream, or shall I say nightmare, was funny as well, though it was a saddening tale, she livened it up a little.

Aaron's love-hate relationship story was cool as I could relate to that, seeing as I have one with my neighbour/best friend.

Eva's parrot story was really cute and amusing, for a little kid who didn't know parrots could talk.

Bobby's speech about falling in love was really unexpected, I'm sure from the whole class, nevertheless he is full of surprises, so yeah. He moves around a lot though when he speaks, habit I guess.

Hadi's was really inspiring as he was the opposite of Rihanna playing the 'bad boy gone good' role.

Even Sarene's monkey in pajamas story was funny, though I'm sure she can tell it awesome-er if she was less nervous :) .

Kiru's speech was EPIC. This is one guy who is born for presenting, he can take the simplest of topics and create amusement in a crowd. I think he did well except for the walking up and down, but I bet it was just the nerves, other than that, you the best.

Anyways, I know everyone gave their best so I know we can keep improving, though we're nervous, got habits, speak manglish and cant remember some 'No-No's'. These mistakes are exactly like the phrase, 'Failure is the stepping stone to success' :) .Thank you for reading.

Truly, Jeswena

Comment on zico's award speech

Zico won the Mr.Nice Guy award which is very suitable for him. He's a really nice guy which is very friendly and funny ! I think there's some improvement on his award speech as he speak more than the previous presentation... I think zico can perform better than this but all he need is to be more confident so that he can overcome the stage fright to speak confidently... Zico, keep it up and try your best to perform better :D

Comment on Linyng's Award Speech

And the award for The Blur Queen goes to.......

LEE LIN YNG!

There is improvement! I think Linyng has overcome her stage fright fear a little, as she starts to know everyone in class. Although she still startles once in awhile but she was no doubt, better at presenting herself than before. She also moves around a little. Hopefully there will be improvement in your gestures in your coming presentations! :)
