The negative effects about how media portrays beauty in people.

The media has been portraying beauty of men and women very fictitiously. The unrealistic images we see in the media about what is beauty has caused negative effects on us which some of us might deny is affecting us. This "perfection" from what the media portrays is what we try to achieve to some extent. We are being fed ideas to what beauty is and we act accordingly. From this, social problems has arisen from how we think about ourselves physically. To help broaden people's minds and appreciate how we look, we need to change how the media portrays beauty as. This is how I feel we should approach the problem.
Do you think you're fat? What makes you think you are? :)

Survey:

2.) Do you think the media has an accurate representation of beauty? Why?

3.) Would you change yourself to become what is portrayed as beauty in the media? Why?

4.) How often are you influenced to buy products, or follow a behavior, from the women, female celebrities
and models you see in the media?

5.) Do you think we need to change what the media defines beauty as? If Yes, why?
