Violent scenes in action movies are ruining children’s future.

My Speech
A very good morning to my lecturer and my friends. My topic for today is violent scenes in action movies are ruining children’s future.
Whatever done to children now, they will do it to society in the future. The quote said by Abraham Lincoln definitely related to the topic which I mentioned earlier. Children love to watch action movies than any other programmes in television. According to my survey almost all the people agreed that children nowadays watching more action movies than any other programmes in television. Action movies like Iron Man and X-Man contain so many violent scenes and almost all of it is aggressive. So obviously it’s not a suitable programme to let a five or six year old kid to watch right? But this is what happening currently. Since most of the houses in Malaysia have television, it’s not a big deal for children to watch their favourite shows in television. Children nowadays are so smart until they use the remote and tune to the channel they want. And parents nowadays are so ignorant towards this issue. Maybe some of the parents are so busy with their works in offices or maybe they just don’t care.
In action movies normally the hero will always kill the enemy in order to save his loved ones or just to defend himself. When this act is witnessed by the children, they tend to follow the hero’s way whenever they feel threaten by other kids. Why this is happening? Just because the failure of parents to stop their children from watching the action movies. Children have no ability to think of which is right and wrong since they are too young and it’s a parent’s responsibility to teach them the good things. Since the parents failed to do so, the children just use the means of violence to defend themselves which they think is good for them. As they grow up, the attitude will grow within them and it could turn them into some gangster in town. You guys want your future children to be one of them? Definitely the answer is no right.
So here it is, the decision is in your hands. Be clear on what you want for your children. Remember your children deserve a better future. And finally I would end with this, it’s easier to build a strong child than to repair a broken men. Thank you.
